When twenty-two-year-old Maya Ridgeway disappears from an environmental research vessel in the Caribbean, her father refuses to wait for someone else to bring her home. Neither do his friends. Aboard the sailing ketch Dream Maker, an unlikely group of sailors, pilots, divers, and friends follows Maya's trail across the islands and into increasingly dangerous waters. What begins as a search becomes a story about family, friendship, courage, and how far ordinary people will go when someone they love needs them.
