EXACTLY!! this book is a rough read as it keeps frustrating you but it’s all worth it in the end🤣
That’s the thing with Cara, you can hate the characters, but it’s always so well written, you enjoy the book anyway.

I didn’t hate them but I wanted to punch them so I can see how that would confusing hehe
I’ve read some soapy 80s crap like that. You want to punch everyone for being such frustrating idiots, but you’re still enthralled by the story. (Writing quality varies, heh.)
This wasn’t soapy, it was extremely realistic l which made it more frustrating because they acted like stupid real people 🤣

I prefer it for contemporary , or at least I prefer complicated, human characters, unless they are aliens. Then I prefer simple aliens.
