Naughtie Scribe A fated bond can be hot as hell.

Right up until destiny starts doing all the choosing.

Give me the magical pull. Give me the mark. Give me the supernatural ache that won’t shut up. But somewhere in all that heat, I still need to know the characters could walk away—and chose not to.

So where’s your line?

Is it resistance? Consent? That moment when the bond stops being the reason and they choose each other anyway?

What makes “fated” feel romantic to you instead of just beautifully packaged control?

Ang When two are fated, it seems like despite everything they still end up together. The obstacles seem like they are insurmountable which makes the endgame especially sweet.

Naughtie Scribe That makes sense. I think I’m more of a reluctant-fated girl, though. 😂

I like the pull, the inevitability, the “why can’t I stay away from you?” of it all—but I want them fighting it for a while. I need some resistance. Some suspicion. Maybe even a little resentment.

For me, the payoff gets sweeter when fate opens the door, but they still have to choose to walk through it. 🔥

Ang Definitely need some spice along the way. Keeps things entertaining.
