Guy Burt Dear wonderful librarians,
I'm trying to update the synopsis of my novel The Glass Field, but my attempts don't seem to be working. If at all possible, please can you replace the existing synopsis (which begins "In 1986, with Chernobyl...") with the following, which is the synopsis correctly showing on Amazon:

From the BAFTA-winning screenwriter and author of After the Hole and The Dandelion Clock.

In the summer of 1986, Scott and Jodie are fifteen, frightened, and increasingly convinced that the world is about to end.

Scott is haunted by his mother’s recent death and his father’s emotional absence. He becomes obsessed with stories of apocalypse, finding a grim consolation in visions of a world reduced to rubble and ash.

Jodie’s parents tell everyone she’s ‘much better now’. But Jodie knows this isn’t true. She has learned to keep the extent of her damage, and her rage, hidden.

Together, Scott and Jodie begin stocking a fallout shelter for the nuclear war they believe is coming. But as the connection between them deepens, it becomes harder to tell exactly what they’re preparing for.

The Glass Field is an intimate, unsettling novel about friendship, grief, fear and the stories we tell ourselves when the world feels close to breaking.

Guy Burt Update: The revised version is now showing, but without (a) formatting (the title is not italicised) and (b) the initial line "From the BAFTA-winning screenwriter and author of After the Hole and The Dandelion Clock". Not a deal-breaker, but is there a reason why that line's not included? It's significant context for a would-be reader.

Scott The description should only be a summary of the plot, no hype.

Guy Burt Thanks, Scott, understood. Will edit it out (if I can).
