I very much agree with your opinion.
I agree, I did not like this one as much as her other books, I felt like she also just said the same things over and over again. Like how many times did we really need to relive her father telling her he didn’t want her around while he was working? It felt like it was mentioned in every single chapter
Erin, excellent helpful review. I know what you mean getting stuck with a book that you're slogging to the end of but it's an audiobook. On multiple occasions lately what I've been experimenting with is jumping ahead to the next chapter, listening a couple of minutes, then jumping ahead to the next chapter and listening a couple of minutes, and so forth till I get to the last chapter. But I only bother doing that when I have enough curiosity as to how the author is going to wrap up this clunker.
