Mohan Kumar Thadi Dear Shweta,
Thank you for such a heartfelt review. You captured something that means a great deal to me — that this was never meant to be a "typical" inspirational memoir. I didn't want to polish the pain into a lesson or make it look beautiful. I wanted it to be true.
You're right that the title unsettles at first. It unsettled me too, for years, before I could even write it down. But you understood exactly what I meant by it — that when something stays with you for decades, shaping your days, nights, and identity, it stops being an enemy to defeat and becomes something you must learn to live alongside.
"This book is not about healing in the traditional sense. It is about coexistence." — I don't think I could have said it better myself. Thank you for reading so closely, and for giving my story the honesty it deserved in return.
With gratitude,
Mohan Kumar Thadi
