I know almost exactly nothing about tarot, but I just Googled the Matronua Tarot and that is a seriously gorgeous deck of cards, and the backstory on Kickstarter is so touching.

Yes, it's very very traditional (I normally like my decks to be a little more queer/modern) but I fell in love with it. Also there's a PDF the artist sends with the deck about how to start to reading TdM which is infinitely more hinged than basically every book I've read on the subject.
