Thank you for taking the time to read the book and post this detailed thoughtful review. One of the book’s main purposes is to document the news headlines of the pandemic’s period. This is why the initial short comments are all reactive, however in the last part of the book, the longer comments shift attention from the main headlines to other more urgent issues. Certain paragraphs are repeated across the comments at the end of the book and I understand that some readers may find that redundant, yet this is a choice I made to include the comments verbatim as first posted on Facebook to maintain the book’s historical integrity. As for citation, I believe readers have access to information online. Enlightened Populism is a behavioral pattern of communication that involves listening to multiple experts, trying to understand how they reached certain conclusions and investigating the information to discern the truth. Instead of posting citations in my books, I prefer that readers do their own research instead of taking my word for whatever I’m tackling. Thanks again for the review, I’ll share it on social media.
