After five books I still am not interested in the wife or the kids. Rose, a bit more, and yes, the Anishinaabe are the exception–well developed and interesting. As for the push-up bra? I rolled my eyes so many times over this I thought they were going to get stuck. In terms of the plot? The whole Ben and Jo storyline was silly and I found, cringe. I'm also not impressed it was left on a cliff-hanger. It was going to be my last book in this series. I'm just not invested enough in any of the characters except Meloux.
