Could you tell us where you saw the strange capitalization issues? Was it the e-book? The problems you cite don't appear in the printed book or ARC.

It was the ebook. I borrowed it on Libby. I even took screenshots because I thought it might be a puzzle! But I looked in a print copy and it didn’t have the random capital letters.
