Goodness, this review made me cry (in a very good way!) I'm so glad you loved it. You have made my year. And I agree wholeheartedly - I really do hope that the book helps to change attitudes.
Thanks so much Victoria, I didn't mean to make you cry but the book made me feel so much. I have unpublished drafts where characters have Cerebral Palsy or other disabilities and I feel that there definitely need to be more books about disability. I have recommended Patience to people already. Please feel free to take a look at my blog. I will post the review there too.
Hi Katherine! I wonder whether there's any chance you could share this review again on the re-release of this novel, now titled My Silent Sister? My new publishers are making it more widely available and it would be great to spread the word. Thank you so much again for this lovely review x
