Book disappeared from claimed author profile after author name correction > Likes and Comments

Hi,

I’m the author of A Place Among the Thornes.

My claimed Goodreads Author profile was displaying my name incorrectly as Lois Minix Minix. I corrected the author name on the book listing to Lois Minix, which is my correct author name.

After I made that correction, the book disappeared from my claimed author profile.

Could someone please reconnect A Place Among the Thornes to my claimed author profile while keeping the author name displayed as Lois Minix?

Side note....I also created a new book for A Place Among the Thornes. Can you combine these editions? Thank you.

Your author profile still shows as Lois Minix Minix (I clicked the profile you are posting from)

You need to change the author name on your profile page too.

If your author name is different from the name on the book page they won't be linked.

Okay, I contacted Goodreads about my profile name because it is incorrect.

It seems to be corrected now but you'll need to claim the author profile again.

I tried to, but since I’ve still claimed the other author profile in which my last name appears twice, it won’t let me.

You will have to ask support to change your name and re-attach you.
