It was good - a translation of about a quarter of the 14th century text. The translator said she had chosen to leave out a fair amount of the sections on building character in favour of those on gardening; I would personally have preferred it the other way around. A number of passages illustrated that this particular medieval age-gap marriage was more equal than would now be typically assumed.
