Do you like it?
Right now I am at a 3 of 5 stars (halfway). It is a philosophical novel about Victorian life which was much more hedonistic than history has recorded. The current interpretation is that of a gothic horror about a guy that was immortal because the painting ages. But it is not time that ages the painting, but immoral deeds. Every evil deed that he commits makes the painting more grotesque.
