Haven’t read but I’m not a huge fan of break-up & make-up repeat books, so your review helps me know that this probably wouldn’t do it for me either. I saw all the hype, so a review going against the grain is refreshing if nothing else. Agreed on the gratuitous sex scenes! I have no problem with smut but 35 pages straight sounds EXHAUSTING! Lovely review and valid rating considering your critiques. 🖤
Great review. The repetitiveness and loads of sex scenes is reminding me of my current read, which I am hating. Maybe I wouldn't like this one.
i've been seeing pretty low reviews for this one from many friends and after reading your review i get why. this one is being taken off my tbr 😭 sorry you didn't enjoy it, lovely!
honestly thanks to your review , I’m steering clear of this. I was already mistrustful of the hype this book was getting but yeah I hateeee spice in the row, especially when it‘s written as you detailed
This sounds absolutely horrible. I’ve seen so many high rating with little review. I’m definitely not interested in this one now🤣 35 pages of consistent spice?? Yeah no
I wanted to read this…but now idk. The no chapters is a major problem for me lol. And with you saying 35 pages of sex scenes with multiples throughout is now making me think is this the reason for the good ratings. Cause nowadays ratings tend to be base on spice and not the story itself. But I’m number 103 in line for the physical book, so I will see how I feel about reading it when the hold is available.
This perfectly sums up all of my feelings about this book. It was not good, and I struggle to see how it's so popular

Tbh would have been better to leave them not together. Like at least it would have all been worth it cause he got to shield her from it or something.. i don’t know man.

I placed this book on hold at my library and it just became available for pick up. After reading/skimming this, I might just not go get it 😂

My second DNF of the year. Sounded like a robot was writing this.
