How do I get a book moved from one author profile to another? > Likes and Comments

There are two Anne Mitchells on goodreads. One is me, and I don't know the other one. I run into this problem whenever I add a book to my profile, it gets added to her profile. The current one that is on hers is WFTO: Alpine University Book 4. That is mine. The other question is how do I stop this from happening? Someone said something about the number of spaces in my name? I just add it from my KDP account, then it gets added to the wrong goodreads account. Thanks in advance for your help

You are not on the default profile for your name because the same name is used by multiple people. Authors with the same name are disambiguated on Goodreads by inserting extra spaces in between the first and last name. Your books will always auto-import to the default profile. The best way around this is to ask Goodreads Support to add a middle initial or name and then use that disambiguated name on future listings on Amazon/KDP. There are quite a few other authors with similar names so be sure to check with a Librarian to ensure your selected name is actually unique, should you choose that route.

Otherwise you can make requests in this group to get your books moved over whenever they are imported.
