I've loved Broken Country and Yesteryear so far! I've heard a lot of mixed feelings about Yesteryear, but I could not put it down.
The Gild series was really good! Dire Bound series was also pretty good!
Favorites-
Starside
The Poison Daughter
Between Tides and Thunder
Crown Me Dead and Crown Me Yours
Best thing I have read this year was a reread. The Sex Chronicles by Zane. Hits completely different at my age than it did the first time round.
Too many! The Midnight Library (fabulous!) Maggie Moves on (Lucy Score- too much fun!) The Haunting of Hecate Cavendish (Paula Brackston) and Jessica Beam is a Hot Mess (Kirsty Greenwood) Way too much fun.
i haven't really read many books this year but "The Reign of Wolf 21: The Saga of Yellowstone’s Legendary Druid Pack" was a really weird find, i didnt expect to cry so much reading about a group of wolves in a national park
I haven't read too many books this year as I was in such a bad reading slump but it has to be Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid so far! Her writing never fails to amaze me and the story was fantastic. The characters were very likeable and they all had development and growth which I love. There is still time yet for that to change though!
Galumptious Daisy is where education policy meets romance, satire, mystery, and a healthy dose of weird. Set in Boston, it’s a whimsical, slightly romantic reimagining of education with a psychedelic-noir twist.Sounds like your new favorite book?
Heartless Hunter- Kristen Ciccarelli.Literally loved the plot, the magic system, and the characters strength and resilience!
The Bone Season series starts strong and only gets better with each book! For me, books three through five, The Song Rising, The Mask Falling, and The Dark Mirror are all six-star reads.
Under the Black Flag (David Cordingly). I'm not sure why I'm so intrigued by historical accounts of the legacy of pirates in the early trade routes off the coast of America and in the Caribbean. Reading about pirates conjures images of what life was like centuries ago, not just for pirates but merchants who navigated the waters.
OKK sooooo... I have quite a few favorites that I definitely recommend reading if you love the falling into romanceFAVORITESSSS
-The Darling Devils Series
-The Powerless Series
-All of Lynn Painters books
Now a few murder books
-Love Letters To a Serial Killer
-How To Survive your Murder
-A Good Girls Guide To Murder
RomanceReader :) wrote: "the hobbit"I started reading the Hobbit and LOTR books as of late. I am super obsessed with all the movies and JR Tolkien's world. After the Rings of Power Came out I new there was so much more that I was missing in which explains how and why this world started. have you read The Silmarillion yet? This book is fascinating and you dive deep into the lore.
It might not be the most original pick, but Tom Lake by Ann Patchett is easily a favorite. It was my first time reading her work, and I was completely hooked. Tom LakeIt probably didn’t hurt that one of the characters deals with an injury uncomfortably close to my own right now, so talk about immersive reading.
I have a feeew -Shatter Me
-This Woven Kingdom
-Once Upon a Broken Heart
I recommend all 3! All of the series are a great read.
Ooo that’s hard but I think either the arc of a scythe series (Neal Shusterman) or the naturals (Jennifer Lynn Barnes)!
