I just want to share my opinion as someone who has actually read all three of this author's books.
I've been reading for years. I started with physical books, then discovered Wattpad, and eventually moved to Kindle Unlimited, which is where I came across this author's work. I read her first published book, The Love That Lingers, and genuinely loved it. That's what made me want to read her other books, including her poetry book and Forced into Forever. I'm not even someone who usually reads mafia romance, but I really enjoyed that one too.
I'm also studying AI and learning how it works, including how it's used in writing. And personally, I don't think this author has used AI to write her books. Of course, I can't know someone's writing process just from reading their work, but I don't think it's fair to assume AI was involved simply because a book has mistakes.
I'm not saying her books are perfect. I've noticed grammar mistakes and some editing issues myself, and I completely agree that those things could be improved. But having grammar mistakes, inconsistencies, or even plot holes doesn't automatically mean a book was written by AI. Human writers make mistakes too, especially independent authors who are still learning and improving their craft.
There are definitely authors who use AI, and that's their personal choice. But there are also so many authors who write their own books and are still accused of using AI just because their writing isn't perfect. I feel like ever since AI became so popular, people have become very quick to make these assumptions.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You can dislike a book, give it one star, or DNF it. That's completely understandable. But I think there's a difference between criticising someone's writing and questioning whether they actually wrote it.
I respect your opinion about the book, but I personally disagree with the AI accusation. I've enjoyed this author's work, and I think she deserves the same opportunity as any other writer to learn from criticism and improve without people automatically assuming her work isn't her own.
I kind of agree with this. I've read this author's poetry book and Forced into Forever, although I haven't posted a review for this one. As someone who absolutely loves mafia romance and has read so many books in this genre, I personally don't think she's used AI in her writing.
And honestly, I feel like this is becoming really unfair, not just to her but to so many other authors who genuinely put their time and effort into writing their books. Just because a book has grammar mistakes or some issues with the storyline doesn't automatically mean AI was involved. Writers are human, and they're allowed to make mistakes.
I really hope she's doing okay because comments like these can genuinely affect authors, especially when they've spent months or even years working on something. Imagine putting so much effort into your book only to have people question whether you even wrote it yourself.
It's completely okay to criticise a book. You can dislike the story, point out grammar mistakes, or even decide not to finish it. Everyone has their own opinions, and that's absolutely fine. But I think accusing someone of using AI without actual evidence is a different thing altogether.
Just because AI is everywhere now doesn't mean every imperfect book was written using it. I really wish people would understand that. Authors deserve constructive criticism, but they also deserve some kindness and respect for the work they put into their stories. I genuinely hope this author doesn't let these comments discourage her from writing.

I can accept criticism about my grammar, editing, plot, or anything else related to my writing. I don't have an editor because, honestly, I'm not earning enough to afford one right now. I do everything myself, from writing to editing, and I know there might be mistakes. I'm not denying that. I'm still learning, and I'm genuinely trying to improve with every book I write. For my next book, I'm already determined to work harder on these things, and I hope I'll be able to hire an editor as well.
But please understand that making mistakes in writing and using AI to write a book are two entirely different things. I'm working hard to build something for myself, and writing is something I put my heart into. You can dislike my book, criticise my writing, or even DNF it. That's your right. But accusing me of using AI without knowing the amount of work I've put into my book is deeply hurtful.
AI has become such a common topic that it feels like some people are now quick to assume that a book must be AI-written simply because they find problems with it. There are still so many authors who write their books themselves, and I am one of them. I have a lot to learn, and I'm willing to learn, but I will not take credit away from my own hard work by pretending I didn't write my own book.
