While I'm here, I've been busy and just wrote a new book, The Road Beside (YA/urban fantasy), which received a Kirkus starred review (I was over the moon). It's available to read on NetGalley here if you are interested.
A little history: I put it up on NetGalley a month ago before I had any advance praise and with a cover that people hated (90% original watercolor art, but I punted on the face and used AI, and people rejected it). I redid the cover as all original watercolor art (I love it now, and people seem to like it too), but now the book listing is so far down the stack on NG that it hasn't gotten any readers or reviews. I'd really appreciate it if you'd take a look and, if you have time, give it a read.
