I have just joined your group. I am author trying to engage with readers. I am retired, and since retirement realized my unfulfilled passion for writing. I have led a full life and can reveal some of the experiences in my writing. I have published on Amazon a extensive bookshelf of children's, YA and Adult books, series of short stories. If the group is interested, I would be willing to discuss any topic and understand what the group's reading tastes and appetite. Thanks John

Hi John, I see you published a book set in ancient Persia and am curious what led you to select that setting?

It's something we have in common. My most recent novel, When Silk & Iron Lie, is set in 7th-century Arabia and I posted my reasons for choosing that setting in the Q&A on my author profile, so I won't repeat it here.
