Hi Nat, your premise sounds quite interesting. If you are open to paid readers, I would love to read it. I am also happy to provide my feedback on the first chapter as a free sample. That would help both of us decide if we are a good fit. :)
I’m an editor and beta reader with 5 years of experience in the field. In addition to in-line comments and immediate reader reactions, I offer an honest analysis of the manuscript from a beta reader’s perspective, with constructive feedback on what works and what could be improved. I also don’t use AI at all. (That should go without saying, but I know it’s something a lot of authors are concerned about nowadays, so I just want to be clear :) )
I primarily work through Fiverr but I'm also happy to work directly if that's your preference. You can see reviews from past clients on my Fiverr profile: https://www.fiverr.com/s/odqLqNN.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for the response Aradhya. Glad to hear it's actual reader reaction than an AI report (I can do that on my own! -- and yes, I feel like this statement needs to be made clear nowadays). I'd like to chat more, but can't DM anymore. What is the best way to exchange emails? I did contact you through Fiverr too.
Hi Nat, thank you for reaching out to me. I have replied on Fiverr too. Please share your email or send me a mail on aradhyamarketing02@gmail.com. We can discuss there as well if we want to work directly.Thank you. :)

The Gardener is a ~30,000-word historical fantasy romance set in post-WWI England at a English manor.
Jack Keller was cursed by a fairy in the mid-1700s with the power to nurture plants, but also with a curse that forces him to keep wandering—he cannot stay in one place for more than a year.
Sir Thomas, a baronet wounded during the Great War, is struggling to regain the use of his hands. Jack is hired to restore the gardens in preparation for Sir Thomas's return.
Their relationship develops slowly, with a light Dom/sub dynamic and an emphasis on tenderness, trust, and intimacy rather than explicit BDSM. Jack's Green Touch allows him to nurture plants in ways no ordinary gardener could, and eventually, to nurture Tom. There is one moderately spicy sex scene.
The central conflict comes from Jack's curse: it pushes him to “find a home,” but never allows him to stay. His fairy mark also makes people suspect he has dealings with the devil. Meanwhile, Tom, while struggling with his injury, is trying to save his floundering estate while providing for the men who served under him and their families.
It's a romantic, character-driven story with a generally happy ending (HEA).
Willing to do an exchange for similar length.
