Curious about what pissed you off?
Thank you for your review. I completely respect your opinion of it and my work won't be for everyone and that's fine. I don't typically comment on things but I felt the need to when you mentioned regression and doing more research into DDLB in general.
You mentioned in your review that you don't personally experience regression. I do. I'm a Little. Its literally a part of who I am and my life. I have done so much research around it so I can better understand myself and what I do through and my experiences as a Little and sub. Regression isn't a one size fits all kind of thing. Its a spectrum. Its not a one age fits every regression sort of thing. Again, its a spectrum. There is also a HUGE difference between how each person is when they regress to their little space. For some people it is completely non-sexual. For others it can be sexual and dip into age play. For myself, it can be sexual and that's why I wrote it the way that I did because I was using my own experiences.
I have also discussed the spectrum of regression and age play with other Littles as well as Middles and Age players while I was writing this to see what they went through and what they were williing to share with me. It was different for each and every one of them.
Just because you've read it as a one size fits all in countless other books doesn't mean that its the end all be all for DDLB, DDLG, CGL, MDLB, MDLG, ect. Its different for everyone.
Now, I can respect if you didn't like it because you prefer non-sexual regression and that is FINE!!!! But please don't say that I needed to do more research into it when you don't personally experience it and I do.
Thank you for giving my book a chance though! I really do appreciate it! And the time to write out your review. I know it probably took awhile.

Hi Courtney! Thank you for taking my review incredibly well! I haven’t written many reviews before, so I’m glad that my review - even if negative - still opened up a conversation.
Thank you educating me on the matter and I apologize for my ignorance, especially since you yourself are a Little. I do agree with you on the point of me preferring non-sexual regression, and unfortunately I have not found many books that offer that dynamic, and many DDLB books I have read don’t use the word regression but rather emphasize the concept of age play. Regardless, I’ll make note to check my own biases and how it doesn’t always necessarily translate to some people’s lived experiences!
I appreciate the work that you’ve put into the book, and I look forward to your growth as a writer and to check out more of your books in the future.
Also, I loved the anti-Ai sentiment you had in the beginning of your book, and I think your book cover is lovely.
