A favorite book is like a favorite flavor of ice cream. It should never be pressed on someone else. Our reasons for liking one flavor over another can change with time and circumstance. To say the least, it can be deeply personal. Sometimes, too, the reasons escape us. Frankenstein was my favorite novel back in college. I don't know why now and wouldn't agree today. I can't even say if I knew why then, Beda. Whoosh! Your review spurred lots of thoughts.
I love your closing Beda. Yes, an interesting book - you know, I found this one incredibly sad. The way the monster just wanted to belong, but it didn't quite happen right? Have you seen the movie? 4-stars from me too! Great review 🤗🎈🦘
