Court’s review of The Housewife > Likes and Comments

I’m about 70% of the way in and I hate this book so much. So much.

I’m assuming Jodie is supposed to be autistic? Which, if so, is a really poor and incentive portrayal of ASD. Her decisions are insane, and she gets caught every five seconds? But we’re also supposed to believe she concocted and successfully executed a plan to trick Roy into marrying her?

But none of the other characters interact with her in anyway that is remotely sensible. Every single character is one dimensional and completely nonsensical. Not a single characters decisions of actions make any sense at all.

This is almost like reading the very first draft of an outline for someone’s novel who really doesn’t know how people think, act or interact with one another. I hate it is soooooo much.

I hate this book too - I’m here in the reviews trying to find out what happens because I can’t bring myself to finish it. It’s SO bad

Same. I hate it! The writing is atrocious! ( but I still want to know what happens 😂)
