Wonderful review, Caz! I’m on the waitlist for this at my library. It sounds like an interesting and informative read! 😺
Wonderful review, Caz. Autism is diagnosed about 3 to 4 times more often in boys than in girls. Now I know why. 🤗💕
Great review, Caz! I’m so glad you brought this one to my attention — I think it’ll make a perfect gift for my stepdaughter. 💕
Thank you, Shelley! I found that really interesting too. Autism can present quite differently in girls, and because some become very good at masking their traits, their difficulties can be missed or misunderstood. When diagnosis comes later, they may have spent years without the right understanding, support or help in place, which can have such a huge impact. It’s something I definitely hadn’t thought about enough before reading this. 🖤✨
Thank you, Sara! I think she’d probably love this one, especially with all the cute cat pics and the special bond some autistic children have with cats and animals. It would make such a lovely gift. 🐈⬛🖤✨
This sounds like a brilliant idea, combining autism and cats in a non-fic book! Wonderful review, Caz, you got me interested ❤️
Oh I love the use of cats to help explain and understand autism 🥹 and differentiating how girls may hide their difficulties is so important! Beautiful review lovely, glad you enjoyed this one ❤️❤️
Thank you, Sophie! It really helps explain the difficulties they face every day trying to fit into a world that can feel so complicated, especially with their heightened senses.🖤✨
Awesome review, Caz! I love the idea of using cats to explain it all. Such a clever way to make it easier for kids to understand.
Great review, Caz! This sounds like such a lovely, gentle, smart way to explain something that may be difficult for kids to understand!
what a creative and fun way to inform cat lovers of all ages about such an important and complicated topic ♥️ gorgeous review caz! so glad you enjoyed
Cats rock! 😻 This sounds like a fascinating book, with lots of great information, Caz! What an insightful and helpful review! ♥︎
I agree, Bo! Between cats and dogs, I think cats are probably the safer choice, especially as some children with autism can find barking overwhelming with their heightened senses. So putting pretty cat pictures in there is a definite win! 🐈⬛🖤✨
Thank you, Yun! Exactly right. Living in a world that feels completely alien to you, with all the social rules and lack of understanding, must be incredibly difficult. This little book explains it so beautifully, with the most adorable cat pictures too. And who’s to say cats don’t have autism as well? 🐈⬛🖤✨
