Or any book, indeed, lol. Eeep, I'm reading Pretty Girls when I finish what I'm reading now! That, of course, if I manage to get out of the hangover that book will cause. ;)
If you'd finished the book you'd learn why Sara Linton was so emotionally connected to the victim. This review is harsh!
Finishing books you don't like is a massive waste of time. My *personal* review reflects my *personal* opinion of this book: It was terribad. If you loved it then good for you. I obviously hated it.
This review is so accurate for me! Pretty Girls was the first KS book I'd read so I thought I'd give this book a try. The characters are annoying and I feel like the plot is just dragging. It's hard to finish a book that you don't even want to pick up. I'm so disappointed!
I am half way through and I am struggling to keep reading. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing it's the author's first book. There are so many mistakes, like the one you pointed out where the chief is so used to seeing murders and even mentions serial killers then why does he keep getting so freaked out? I'm going to stick it out because she is a first-time author but wow this is really painful.
I agree this is not her greatest. Think it was one of her first novels. Before I read this one, I had just finished After that Night from the Will Trent series. From that book I learned about Sara’s traumatic past which, in many ways, is very similar to the case she is working in Blindsighted. So, I went into this book already knowing exactly why she was reacting that way. Still could use polishing but not bad for one of her earliest.

I'm actually surprised myself that this is the same author who wrote Pretty Girls. But I guess not all of the authors works are going to be as superb as Pretty Girls. Great review :)
