Combining Revised Second Edition with Existing Goodreads Listing > Likes and Comments

Hello! I'm preparing to release a revised second edition of my book, Journey to Torcia, Book 1 of my Shadow Casters series. It will have a new title, cover, and ISBN, and I've made some polishes to the overall manuscript, but it remains the same underlying story as the original.

My understanding from other posts I've read and people I've spoken with who have done something similar is that I should l still be able to merge these editions to preserve the existing Goodreads ratings, reviews, and reader shelves, but I wanted to confirm that and see what steps I need to take before publishing the second editions. Is there anything I need to do or avoid in the meantime? Really look forward to any direction and support I can get to make this as smooth as possible once I'm ready to move forward. Thank you!

Yes, the two editions should be combined. If it appears on your page as a separate book, use the combine editions link to bring them together.

If you plan to add the book yourself, add it as a new edition of the existing work.
