I'm sure you would have a wealth of material from which to draw, partly on account of that. I did recently experience what you said in relation to a short story. The concept sprang, fully formed, into my mind, and it was the opposite of my normal frustration in that I couldn't frame it quickly enough for my liking!

Sorry for delayed response, John! I'm just getting used to Goodreads! Good luck with your writing. I think one of the reasons I have no difficulty is that I don't worry about it. I'm retired and have time and enough to live on, so I'm lucky in that respect. For me writing is a positive pleasure.
