Thank you very much! I had no idea it was in so many countries! Started 1,000 years before Christ as well, no wonder it hasn’t changed. Also sorry for my mis-spelling. I figured there might be only 4-5 castes, not 3,000 with 25,000 subcastes, wow! You must be so happy your family has come to the US where you can be whatever you want to be. On a side note, my grandfather told me 30years ago, “If you get have an Indian Dr. get one, they are the best!” He died in 1997 and I never forgot his words. I’ve had several Drs. from India with surnames in your book and all have been wonderful Drs. Makes me wonder, especially Dr. Singh, if his family was in that upper class..... thank you for your response, I look forward to reading more of your books!
