Katherine, on a book I just finished (in final round of editing now), there are multiple points of view. What I found that helped was, when I reached a point of wondering how to go forward, I'd go back and double-check each character against the most forward point in time in the story. Invariably, there were one or two that had to be pulled forward. By the time I had done that, i was off and running agin. BTW, I just sent you a friend invitation.
