Thank you for responding so quickly. I'm pleased to know that your next book(s) will continue to promote Cleethorpes and Grimsby. So many people who have never been here have no idea what they're missing.
They don't, Amanda and I am fed up of the negative stories. Cleethorpes is such a beautiful seaside town. I have had readers tell me they feel they know the place. It's a great place to live. I go back often to visit my mum and sisters.
It really is and the people are really friendly too. My cousin lives in Watford and when she comes back home her husband and family are really surprised at how friendly people are compared to where they live. I suppose we fell foul to people like music hall comedians years ago and the reputation has stuck. xx
Those Billy Lane's have a lot to answer for :)
