Jenn’s answer to “What happened to your story "I Dreamed of Sky"?” > Likes and Comments

At first I thought that issue never appeared. Apparently it did, but that story isn't in it. The editor of Pulp Eternity, Steve Algieri, vanished from the scene, "leaving contractual obligations unfulfilled." All I can find about the end of the zine is that it was for "personal reasons." Very mysterious.
It would be sad if your story disappeared forever. I read your first sale, "Memory and Reason," in Prom Night, and I really liked it.

I'm so glad you liked "Memory and Reason"!! I remember seeing the prompt for that anthology and thinking, "Everyone will write fantasy stories for this, so I'm going to do something IN SPACE." Last year I got tattoos of Odin's ravens on my arms, partially as a reference to that first sale!
