That was an interesting question and an equally interesting answer. It makes sense that the "convention" an author enjoys would show up in their writing, but it's only obvious after you hear it.

Love the question and I have often wondered the same thing. It seems like there is a formula in writing love stories. I usually dread the 'parting' I know is coming.

However, Melissa writes the most beautiful love stories and her books are always well worth reading. I look forward to the next.

This is actually why I love your novels Melissa. They always make me feel good. A great distraction from my everyday life especially when I'm feeling sad or down.
