Rose Hi Ms. Michaels,
Thank you so much for your prompt and detailed response. I was so happy to read your reply. I let out a shout of joy, when I read that you are starting your annual re-read of the In Death series. It's my annual tradition too.
Well, I'm so happy to know that there are more books to come in the SSI series. After my re-read of the series, I've been wondering about the fate of the escaped Chavez and El Hacha and of Anton and Lucia from An Ill Wind. I'm hoping that loose end would be tied up in this book. And I also wonder about Levi and Pia. That Pia is really a stubborn
one when it comes to Levi, though I understand where she's coming from. Hope we get to know more about them too.
I'm so excited to see how the new chapter of SSI East and its members will turn out. Knowing your writing, it will definitely be a treat for my soul with kickass guys and gals. I loved the camaraderie between the Walsh brothers in the previous books. Will miss the guys from Idaho though! I'm eagerly waiting for book 6.5 Ride Out the Storm.
Thanks so much for sharing your gift of writing with us readers, even in the time of this current pandemic. God bless you and your family with a safe and happy holiday season. Hugs - Rose.

Monette Michaels Rose-- wow, my fans are the best. Anton and Lucia are now happily settled in Osprey's Point at the time Book 6.5 starts, so you will be seeing more of them in the Walsh brothers' books. As for Levi and Pia, well, they are still dancing around each other -- and that may mean they need a novella at some point. We'll see. Levi is now part of SSI and is stationed in Idaho but that doesn't mean he might not appear in one of the future books. My Muse hasn't rang in on that yet. And just because I am focusing on the Walshes and SSI-East for the next books doesn't mean you won't see any of the gang from out west. I have a concept for one of the future books (not the next one -- I sort know what that one is about at this point - not enough to share, but enough to know I can start writing it) that will entail going to Central America and that will pull in Conn Redmond also. :) Thanks for loving my books. Oh, and I started Naked in Death last night. Happy Reading! -- Moni

Rose Hi Ms. Michaels!
Ecstatic to hear from you and read of all the details to come in the next book. I can't wait to read Book 6.5. About Levi and Pia; I get it. I Hope Levi gets his HEA soon though (Muse, ring it in ;))! And Yay for Conn! He deserves a book of his own for sure. Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my queries. It means a lot to me.
Oh, and so happy for the start of your re-read of the In Death Series. I hope you enjoy all the spark, goodness, love, and warmth that is between Eve and Roarke all over again and laugh out loud when you read of Eve's troubles with anything electronic, as I did. Happy Reading and Happy Holidays! - Rose.
