Talli Ruksas I don't usually care for fantasy either but love both the Penric and Sharing Knife series - you might give them a try

Christiane I'm looking forward to whatever you produce. I'd love to see more of what happened with the butter bugs and gardens (just finished Diplomatic Immunity, so not sure whether you've already written more to scratch these itches). But I'd be satisfied with anything. Keep it coming! :)

Jonathan Palfrey I always thought of myself as a science-fiction reader who dipped into fantasy only occasionally. But I'm less in sympathy with a lot of modern sf, and find myself reading more fantasy instead. Frankly, my reaction to the Vorkosigan saga varies from book to book, whereas the World of the Five Gods seems to suit me better: I've read all of it and will continue to do so.

Jonathan Palfrey Unfortunately, all fictional sagas come to an end at some some point, when the author runs out of inspiration, runs out of interest, or just dies. The Vorkosigan saga has already gone on longer than most: be grateful. Some authors write one novel in a very promising world, and then never do anything more with it. I often come to the end of a book and want to read what happened next; too often, the rest is silence.

Talli Ruksas Christiane - lucky you, you have 3 more novels and a novella to read in the Vorkosigan series (assuming you've read everything thru Diplomatic Immunity)

Jonathan Palfrey "The Flowers of Vashnoi" (novella) has more about Ekaterin and bugs, though most of the story takes place at a remote location that we haven't visited before.

Melinda I also prefer sci-fi to fantasy, but honestly, if Bujold wrote a phone book I would probably read it cover to cover.
