Helen Crosbie Deb, I also loaned Dream Wheeler to a friend at work (which she also loved) and we were wondering if Jane was still alive and kicking and still in France? At the end of the book, it mentioned Jane's 80th birthday and we were just wondering. I think her 80th was in 2013???

Deb Hunt Hi Helen Jane celebrated her 80th in 2009 but sadly she's no longer with us (although I bet she's around in spirit). I visited her in France in July 2013 to present her with a copy of Dream Wheeler and she died just before Christmas that year. A very special lady...

Helen Crosbie Very sad to hear. Jane had far more guts, fighting spirit and optimism than I've ever had. I shall always think of her in terms of an English country garden, with all the bright colours. I shall also remember Jane whenevr I see someone hurl a Tetley's Teabag into the garden :D

Deb Hunt Yes, tea bags being tossed in the garden does it for me every time! Mind you, a friend suggested you pull the strings off because they can get tangled around a bird's leg.
