The lair was my 2nd herbert book, My mum had been a long time fan of his, so when i was old enough, and knowing my love for horror, she got me a 2nd hand copy of the rats, I loved it, The ghosts of sleath was where i truly fell in love with his work, to this day it remains one of the few horrors that creeped me out, Its nice to know there are others carrying his tourch
Yeah, JH was/still is/ the boss. The latest books I've written are not really horror at all, but I still like to think they are a homage to the great man.
I've added one of your books to my to read list, There are are a couple of other herbert writers i have come to enjoy,
