I am almost finished The Saffron Gate and it will most definitely go down as one of my all times faves - along with other epics like Gone with the Wind, The Thornbirds, Anna Karenia and such so you can see how highly I think of your writing.
I definitely plan on reading the rest of all your books and hope you are writing a new one as we speak.
Your writing is so perfectly paced and so compelling and your characterization is rich and, even Manon, who is clearly not a decent individual in the way she handles Sidonie evokes some compassion and feeling in the reader. While I have very negative feelings towards Etienne his character is so well defined, that even when he is not constantly on the pages of the novel he is frront and center to the reader as he certainly is to our beloved Sidonie.
