Well I'm Black, so I don't think me showing up in the Highlands or the Plantagenet era would go over very well. I would have to imagine myself as a white woman and that is extremely difficult to do, even if I wanted to. I guess that is why exceptional writing is so important to me. I just want to lose myself in the story without having to think about (me) in it.
