I know exactly what you mean Steven! I suffer more from marketing block, ha!
I don't remember the context, but I was being a wee bit glib. I've collected so many ideas over the years, and still do, that I never run out of them.
I know exactly what you mean. My latest book, The Hostile, was inspired by a tile on my bathroom floor, ha! Inspiration is everywhere. The book before that was inspired by a comment from my sister concerning inheritance.
Hopefully not an argument over inheritance! I'm inclined to come back and haunt my kids if they fight over my estate. :-)
I was disinherited by my crazy father, so it was a strong theme in Random Bullets. The 'hero' in my book was disinherited twice, but I'd never do what he did ... or would I? Ha!
My father inadvertently gave me plenty to write about. I like turning negatives into positives. I've done it all of my life.
