I listen to voices while I sleep, then when I'm in my office, I closed the door and begin typing what I dreamt.
Hi Stephen! Thanks for the comment. That's a great way of following up on your dream ideas. That is how I came up with most of the storyline in my first novel. I also seem to come up with the best plots and characters just before I fall sleep, and then I have to get up and quickly write down my thoughts so I don't forget the next day. I think I'm more open to creativity when I'm in that state between awake and sleep.
