Kyrie Wang It has been so helpful to read your book as I write my series, which takes place in AD 1075 England. My characters are the great great great grandchildren of your characters (William the Conqueror was a descendant of Rollo :)) I can just see my Norman protagonists as the direct descendants of Taurin and Halla. Hurray!

"The irony is that William was of Viking descent: his great-great-great-grandfather Rollo was a Viking who in 911 had invaded Normandy in northern France. His people had become French over time, but in one sense this final successful invasion of England was another Viking one."
(From an article titled "The Vikings in Britain: a brief history" by the Historical Association whose link I'm not allowed to paste on Goodreads...)

And I will finish it one day soon I promise with a big review. I've been taking notes XD
