I've been a longtime fan of the Psycop series, so I don't quite remember which year this little subscriber ficlet came out, but in one of the ficlets on the author's site Carolyn told Jacob after Jacob made a joke about Crash not being able to commit to a relationship. Her point was Crash was making strides to be in the relationship and meeting his mother was important but Jacob that let him down on that occasion.
