Catherine My sympathies on your mother's illness; I hope that all is well with her now.

I am very much looking forward to your new works! Thank you so very much for your response. I just saw it now; being a tax accountant I've been a bit busy myself.

Sarah Haha, I really wish I needed your services, my next ambition is to earn enough to pay tax! I have started the next Jane and Caleb, Jane and the Hidden Hoard, and hit a wall [winter ailments, mum poorly and I got sidettracked onto book 2 of the Charity School series, a new Regency series I hope to launch soon]. I just have to do the corrections on my proof of 'The Midsummer Mysteries', which is the next Felicia and Robin. I plan to sort that and launch as soon as I'm over the current bug myself... and get back to Jane and Caleb, masquerading as housekeeper and butler in a house where there lives might be at risk as they search for stolen jewellery... longer lighter evenings should help no end.

Catherine Hi Sarah -- In my opinion you should be earning scads of money with your wonderful books! I praise them to all and sundry.

I have finished the Midsummer Mysteries (fabulous) and just last night the Reprobate's Redemption.

It does seem with the Felicia and Robin you are moving a bit away from using the olde English second person singular forms; I miss that. I have been learning how to use that from your work! You are still keeping me on my toes with the excellent vocabulary and the tucked-in-as-an-aside lessons on the origins various sayings and customs.

Now that I saw the reference to the 2nd Charity series book I will toddle right off to Amazon to buy that one.

Thank you SO very much for your wonderful books. My best wishes to your mom in her recovery and to you with your bug, side-tracking, and various life distractions.

Sarah Many thanks, Catherine! I am glad you enjoy my books! So does my mum, so now she's a bit better she's very happy for me to write!
I'll be releasing the next Jane and Caleb in a couple of weeks, 'Jane and the Hidden Hoard' and I have to go through my editor's edits on the next Felicia and Robin, 'The Colour of Murder' and do a cover for it! I'm working towards releasing an anthology of updated fairy tales with my friend and colleague Giselle Marks, as well as writing on with the series that I have in hand!
As to the voice in Felicia and Robin, I was finding several people were not happy with the olde English so regretfully toned it down. I apologise to you and anyone who has no difficulty but I have to listen to vox populi... I might try to sneak a bit more in as people get used to the stories...
