Thank you Neil, I agree that there doesn't need to be a sequel, Angel seems satisfied and happy with her choice so any further fall in status would, in my view be pointless. As I wrote in my review I enjoyed your style and hoped that another similar story would be considered if Angela's Path proved to be a success. If so, god luck.

I am very flattered. I am told by people who read my detective novels that my style is very similar to the style in Angela's Path--the ironic humor and my concentration on keeping the plot moving. Doing this book has reminded me that detective stories are not for everybody and has encouraged me to think about starting up on a couple of novels that I had set aside. Neither one is a social downgrade story, though
