That's awesome - thanks so much for taking the time to answer! I also have a bit of UK in my heritage; dad's family is from England (and includes William Clark, from Lewis & Clark), mom's mom is Scottish (thus my name).

I'd posted about sources for Fae lore on Reddit, and learned about Katherine Biggs' Encyclopedia of Fairies, and an 1800 book by Wirk Sikes called British Goblins.

So much to read!
