In my questions, I ran out of characters to express how very much I love the Dauntless Path series. I truly love them! I recommend them to others all the time. Thank you so much for writing them. I'm a super excited fan today to see your responses to my questions! :) I cannot believe that you didn't have those books planned in your mind when you wrote Thorn, because you wove everything together so beautifully in Darkness. Rereading Thorn again helped me catch several things that you picked up later and folded in. Thanks so much for the fairytale recommendations. This probably seems silly, but I don't know how to sign up for your newsletter. Could you please share how I can do that? Thank you again for writing these books. I'm sure it sounds cheesy, but they really are a gift to the world.
I found a way to join your newsletter on your website. :) Thanks so much for responding to my questions. :)
Oh thank you so much for sharing how much you've loved the series with me, and others! 😊 In terms of weaving things together, I tend to do very intensive edits/revisions (for example, for the A Darkness at the Door, my "discarded passages" file was 90k words... which basically means I threw away an entire novel's worth of writing). The process can be a LOT to manage, but it does mean I'm able to weave in those threads (or set up future threads) and bring things together just by reworking scenes until I get them right.
And yay! I'm so thrilled you found my newsletter via my website. Thank you for signing up! The next chapter of Riha should go out later this month, and it will have links to start at the beginning so you can catch right up. :D Happy new year!
