Where is Harry's mustach?
I am watching it now and am on the first episode. I like the casting. Mr. Connelly, were you involved in selecting the main actor and rest of cast?
I like the show, but I don't understand why they chose to mix Concrete Blonde with City of Bones. I loved Concrete Blonde because there was a direct relation between the events happening in the trial with the investigation that Harry was doing while the trial was happening. That created a lot of suspense and tension. I did not care for City of Bones nearly as much because it was a cold case and there was no threat posed by the person who was revealed as the most likely killer. It wasn't like he was a serial killer who kept killing for many years and was finally caught. For that reason, the ending was a letdown for me.
I was Very impressed with the production. Very classy, direction, writing, acting, music, camera and lighting - an all 'round winner.
I have to say... it may be very well done, the TV series (as I hear people talking) but to me? it kinda ruined my Bosch idea.... I didn't even watched the forst episode because the actor isn't at all what I ad in mind going through the books (which I LOVE!!!!) now reading The Narrows again and it is annoying, because I keep seeing the actor instead of "my" Harry Bosch ... LOL oh well... I guess we cannot expect castings to always be what we have in mind....
