About Paris, I feel nearly the same.
Have you been to Musee Nissim de Camondo? It displays some of the finest furniture and objects from the reigns of Louis XV and Louis XVI. Those were assembled by Moïse de Camondo who commissioned the architect René Sergent to build a mansion in the style of the Petit Trianon at Versailles, in which he could house his collections.
The more I happen to read about Paris, the more I wish I could get there. That’s city where your greatest dreams come true, right?
