Nedam So well put, couldn't agree more. Apollo is an excellent character, (ironically) so human and easy to empathize with. But his arrogance and cluelessness wouldn't be half as hilarious if there weren't these poignant moments too that let him (and the readers alongside him) develop as a person. It's not easy to choose, and it's a close call, but I think he's my favorite of all your characters.

Matthew Well said! It’s easy to lose sight of the fact that being a demigod is dangerous, but if there are no stakes or tension, the story is less engaging.

Luixandra Blackstone Thank you so much for this answer Mr. Riordan. I've read all of your books and (obviously) there's been tragedies (hello Greek Mythology!) and sometimes it's hard to remember and understand that in order to get the "good things", one most go through some bad things as well. I appreciate you and the fact that you take the time to write not only your wonderful books, but also to this community.
